Rules

A short list. Break one and your slop comes off the wall.

  1. 1

    Ship something real

A slop is a working thing someone can try today: a website, a TestFlight or Android beta, a published app, a repo with a demo. Ideas and waitlists don't count.

  2. 2

    Keep it safe for work

Slopper is for things you'd show anyone. Every launch, screenshot and auto-posted update gets an automated content check. Sexual or hateful screenshots are refused at upload, and anything sexual, hateful or illegal in a launch is held for a moderator and never auto-posted.

  3. 3

    No spam, malware or scams

No phishing, rug pulls, credential harvesting, or links that download something nasty. Promoting your own stuff is the point. Deceiving people isn't.

  4. 4

    Be useful in feedback

Feedback should help the maker. Be specific and generous; everything here is supposed to be rough. Downvotes are private for a reason.

  5. 5

    Auto-posts are yours

Auto-post speaks as you. You're responsible for what it says, and for following each network's rules.

See something that breaks these? Use “Flag as inappropriate” on its page. Flagged slops stop auto-posting straight away, and moderators can hide anything.
